When the Great Raven steals their mother’s precious brooch, the Twins, Henry and Henrietta are blamed and told that, unless it is returned
before their Birthday, their party will be cancelled and their four Animals, Curd the Lion, Pilgrim Crow, Sweeney the Heenie amd O’Flattery the Snake, will be sent to the charity shop.
Curd the Lion leads the animals out that night to the Back of Beyond,
in search of the brooch, and an Amazing Adventure begin...

Li’l Oscar and Zebra Num-num
Zebra Num-num has a belly button, black as a raisin. That’s how he got his name. Num-nums were Li’l Oscar’s favourite sweet and when he first got Zebra he tried to eat his belly button.
